Formed in 1934 as Zander and Weyl to build gliders. Renamed as Dart Aircraft Ltd in 1936 and producing powered aircraft. Factories based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, UK.
Dart first flew the Pup in July 1936 and the Kitten in January 1937.
